Notes
|
- Stick bushings are warranted when the screwshaft hole is worn elliptical or is out of alignment from back to front or from side to side. The amount of deviation determines the extent of repair. Frog and button bushings are needed as the hole no longer holds the shaft.
- On rare occasion these repairs are difficult and can take extra time. Prices vary accordingly.

Notes
|
- Cost varies according to time, difficulty and risk involved. The process of cambering a bow involves heating the stick more than 200ºF. There is an inherent risk that the bow can break in the process due to unseen flaws in the stick. While it is extremely rare that it happens, my shop is not responsible for such breakage. This repair is done at the customer's risk.

Notes
|
- Sometimes replacing a simple eyelet is anything but!. Bows can have screws out of alignment, holes off center, worn threads, odd sizes, etc. I have several custom made taps for the rare metric sizes that I occasionally encounter. On these more difficult eyelet replacements I charge by time. However, if it is a simple 'out of the box' eyelet repalcement, I charge less than above.
- The price range is $ 1.75 ~ $ 4.75 for brass and $ 8.50 for bronze eyelets

Notes
|
- Tip replacements are a labor intensive repair that takes a delicate hand and a well developed sense of historical preservation. Poorly done the bow is devalued. I like to take my time a do a careful job.
- Mammoth Ivory ranges in cost from $ 18.60 for violin to 38.60 for bass bows.
- Synthetic tips range in cost from $ 8.66 for violin to $ 17.60 for bass bows.

Notes
|
- Head splines are my specialty. My success rate is 100% for the last 20 years! However, once the damage has occurred the bow is devalued in the range of 40% ~80% and sometimes more. Please consult with you insurance company before having your bow repaired.
